UIA returned $ 33 million to passengers during the pandemic

08.04.21: Ukraine International Airlines once again reports on the number of processed appeals of passengers of canceled flights due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the shortage of human resources, UIA systematically continues to reimburse passengers for canceled flights.

In the period from January 1 to March 31, 2021 about 30,000 passenger requests were considered and processed and a refund of $ 6,711,576 was issued. In total, during the 12 months of its activity during the pandemic from April 2020 to March 2021 inclusive, UIA returned more than 33 million US dollars to passengers.

In addition, the airline reminds that passengers of canceled flights have several options to choose:

• Free ticket renewal;
• Registration of promo code for 125% of the amount paid, which is valid for 2 years from the date of its issuance. This option allows you to use the money already spent on a new ticket;

The airline reiterates its openness to dialogue and sincerely hopes that passengers will understand the situation. UIA's communications departments do their best to process each application as quickly as possible.
