UIA will operate the second unique flight "Flight over Kyiv"
As of February 15, the sale of tickets for the unique flight of the "Flight over Kyiv" project has been completed. The demand for the unusual flight, scheduled for March 7, surpassed all expectations - tickets "flew" in record time. As of the morning of February 15, all tickets are sold out. Moreover, the e-mail address excursion@flyuia.com received about a thousand requests.
UIA employees sincerely thank the passengers for their interest. “Aviation has always been fascinating. For us, this is a sign that everyone missed flights and the sky, just like we do. In addition, for us, employees of the airline, this is a signal that the “behind the scenes” of aviation is very interesting for our passengers. And we with the UIA creative team promise to move in this direction in the future. We are already preparing new interesting projects”, says Bogdan Skotnykov, head of the “Flight over Kyiv” project.
Taking into account the huge number of requests and the desire of UIA employees to respond to the expressed interest, the airline decided to open an additional flight of the "Flight over Kyiv" project on March 13.
The «tour guides» on the route will be real UIA pilots who will fly with passengers in the cabin and accompany the flight with aviation stories!
What does travel with such a company include?
- flight over Kyiv on Embraer 195 at an altitude of 900 meters above the Dnipro river along the route in the direction of the mysterious Chernobyl;
- a tour of Boeing 777 on the apron of the Boryspil Airport;
- photo in the cockpit;
- selfie with the pilot;
- drawing of souvenirs and gifts.
And pilots will be happy to answer many questions and dispel the myths that are shrouded in aviation. What professional superstitions do pilots have? Is it true that the autopilot does all the work in flight? Can you fly without engines? What is turbulence and should you be afraid of it? And many more secrets and life hacks!
As the number of seats on board is limited, priority will be given to passengers who submitted applications but were unable to book their seats on the 7 March flight.
