UIA increases flight frequencies to Prague and Geneva
04.03.21: Ukraine International Airlines announces an increase in frequencies on the Kiev-Prague-Kiev and Kiev-Geneva-Kiev routes. Already at the end of March, from March 28, the airline will increase the number of frequencies from 2 to 4 flights per week:
- Flights to / from Prague will be operated on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
- Flights to / from Geneva - Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
During the flight program, UIA will provide passengers from Geneva with convenient connections in Kyiv for travel to Odesa, Dubai, Cairo, Yerevan, Tbilisi and Tel Aviv, and passengers from Prague to Dubai, Tbilisi, Istanbul, Erevan, Tel Aviv, Cairo.
Please note, that there are currently some epidemiological restrictions on crossing the borders of different countries:
- Entry to the territory of the Czech Republic is allowed for EU citizens and their family members, employees and heads of diplomatic missions and consulates, foreigners with a residence permit in the EU, employees of the transport industry, medical workers, students, passengers heading for treatment in the presence of a negative PCR test, which was made no more than 72 hours before departure. Upon arrival, all foreigners traveling from high-risk countries must fill out the form on the website and undergo PCR testing within 5 days.
- Entry to Switzerland is allowed for EU citizens and their family members, employees and heads of diplomatic missions and consulates, foreigners with a residence permit in the EU, residents of Switzerland and Liechtenstein, persons with C and D visas that were issued after March 16, 2020 in the presence of a negative result of the PCR test, which was done no more than 72 hours before departure or a negative result of the Rapid Immunological Test, which was done no more than 24 hours before departure.
Passengers arriving from the Czech Republic and Switzerland to Ukraine are subject to 14 days of isolation, which can be suspended if a negative PCR test is obtained after arrival.
