UIA adjusts flight schedule to Italy
UPD UKRAINE INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES HAS DECIDED TO SAVE ALL ITS FLIGHTS TO ITALY
December 16, 2021: Due to the tightening of quarantine restrictions for travelers from Ukraine by the Italian Ministry of Health, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) announces a reduction of flights between Ukraine and Italy. Namely, a reduction in the number of flights to Rome and Milan for the period from January to February 2022. More details on the updated flight schedule can be found later on the official website of the airline.
In particular, from 16.12.21 to 31.01.22 entry to the territory of Italy is allowed only to certain categories of citizens:
- Holders of a residence permit in Italy;
- Citizens entering Italy with confirmed motives for work, study or treatment;
- In some cases, by decision of the Italian authorities and on reasonable grounds.
When entering, citizens of Ukraine, who belong to the above categories must fill out an online form of sanitary control before arrival; present a certificate of negative PCR test or rapid test on COVID-19 (made no earlier, than 72 hours before departure); intensify health care procedures in medical institutions according to the area of residence and undergo 10 days of self-isolation, after which re-testing. Moreover, UIA offers its passengers, who do not belong to special categories of citizens, and who have purchased tickets to Rome and Milan:
- Change the route to any of UIA's own flights and UIA's domestic code-share flights operated between 16 December 2021 and 28 February 2022, free of fine and surcharge according to the cabin in the original ticket.
We remind you that UIA operates flights to a number of cities, from which it is easy to get to the ski resorts. We offer to reissue tickets to these destinations: Barcelona (Andorra), Geneva, Munich, Tbilisi, Salzburg, Istanbul, and later Kayseri and Erzurum (Turkey), which will be announced in addition.
- Change the date of travel for UIA flights on the original route (Rome, Milan), which run from February 1, 2021, without paying a fine and surcharge on the fare in the original booking class during the ticket period.
- Exchange a ticket to a promo code.
- Make a full or partial refund.
