January 08, 2021 will mark a year since the terrible date in the life of the airline - the crash of UIA flight PS752, which was shot down by Iranian military missiles in the sky over Tehran. There were 176 people on board - 167 passengers and 9 crew members, all of whom died.
To perpetuate the memory of the victims of the tragedy, as well as to try to find answers to difficult questions, the author of the film, Leonid Kanfer, conducted his own investigation. His results can be seen in the film "The Secret of Romeo's Death". The author tried to establish the truth about what really happened in the skies of Iran, what events preceded it, what is their international context and consequences.
Leonid Kanfer is a military journalist, author of many document movies, who has lived and worked in Ukraine since 2015.
On January 5, 2021 in the Multiplex Atmosfera at 18:00, there will be a closed presentation of the investigative film. Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Safe Sky Foundation, employees of Ukraine International Airlines, and other civil society representatives interested in the tragedy of PS752 are invited to the presentation.
Due to quarantine restrictions on the operation of cinemas, press accreditation is mandatory and limited.
