Transfer Passengers

ALL UIA flights at Kyiv Boryspil International Airport (KBP) operate to and from TERMINAL D.

If you have a flight connection at Boryspil Airport please follow the instructions below.

  • International to International UIA flights connections
  • Domestic to Domestic (across Ukraine) UIA flights connections
  • Domestic to International UIA flights connections
  • International to Domestic UIA flights connections

  • At origin airport, your baggage will be checked through to your final destination at the time of check-in, and you will receive a boarding pass for your onward flight which departs from Kyiv Boryspil Airport (KBP).
  • No need to collect your baggage at KBP as your bags will be transferred to your connecting flight.
  • If you do not have a connecting boarding pass for your onward flight, please request it at the UIA Transfer desk.
  • Clear security control and proceed to your gate.

  • At origin airport, check your baggage through to your final destination and receive a boarding pass for your onward flight departing from Kyiv Boryspil Airport (KBP).

  • No need to collect your checked baggage
  • If you do not have a boarding pass for your onward flight, please request it at any UIA check-in desk at the International Departures area.

2. If you HAVE any goods to declare* in your checked baggage:

  • Check-in your baggage to Kyiv.
  • Upon arrival at Kyiv Boryspil Airport collect your baggage at the Domestic Arrivals area.
  • Please take your baggage to the International Departures area for customs clearance.
  • Check in and drop off your baggage at UIA check-in desks #1 or #2 located the International Departures area.
  • If you don't have a boarding pass for your onward flight, request it at the International Departures check-in desk.

Attention transfer passengers going via Toronto

UIA provides its passengers with the opportunity to check in their baggage for the whole way through the final destination, if the passenger flies by transfer when travelling via Toronto. At that the passenger must get the baggage and pass the customs control. After that, the passenger can leave the baggage on a special baggage carousel. Detailed information is available on the Toronto airport website.
