UIA flights punctuality in 2020

November 12, 2020: Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has summed up the results of flights punctuality for 10 months of 2020. Accordingly, in January-October, 12 878 flights were operated with punctuality at the level of 88.5%. In particular, in October 2020, the airline made 1 095 flights, ensuring scheduled execution by 92.7%.

A number of parameters are taken into account during determining the punctuality index, including adverse weather conditions for departure, the duration of operating procedures at the airport of departure and other factors. The punctuality analysis takes into account flights departing within 15 minutes. Exceeding this time is qualified by a flight delay. Ensuring a high rate of UIA flights punctuality of this year has proved the effectiveness of the company's ground complex measures to qualitatively improve flight service procedures at the carrier's internal and external stations.
