Four-day tours to Georgia with Makatsaria Tourism on the UIA wings

June 7, 2021: Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) is pleased to announce the start of cooperation with the authentic Georgian tourism agency Makatsaria Tourism. The companies will develop cooperation in both directions, to which UIA flies. There are flights to Tbilisi and Batumi. The airline offers to visit "weekend" tours with departures on Thursdays and arrival on Sundays (Batumi) or on Mondays (Tbilisi).

UIA and Makatsaria Tourism cordially invite all guests to the first unique four-day tour, which starts on June 10.

After the meeting at Tbilisi International Airport on June 10, tourists will receive an individual transfer, lunch and a walk in the evening in Tbilisi. It is the city with a rich history and unique architecture. In addition, during the four-day visit, tourists will have the opportunity to visit Mtskheta, Jvari Monastery, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Kakheti, Sighnaghi, Hareb wine cellars in Kvareli, Grammy Monastery, as well as unique "wine houses" where Georgian wines are stored. Kakhetian methods in kvevri (capacity is about 3.5-4.5 tons).

During the tour, tourists will stay in comfortable rooms at the Rooms Hotel Tbilisi in Tbilisi and at the ‘Schuhmann Wines Chateau & Spa’ in Kakheti.

The program also includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, PCR tests on the third day of stay and internal transfer according to the program.

Departure on June 10, 2021 by UIA flight PS 513 at 9:50 (arrival in Tbilisi at 13:35 local time), return to Kyiv on June 14, 2021 at 06:15 (arrival in Kyiv at 08:10 local time).

The tourist package will include the carriage of hand luggage, as well as one place of checked baggage weighing up to 23 kilograms. Additionally, passengers will be able to order food on board, PCR testing on departure and arrival from Ukraine, choose a place on board. There will be a 30% discount on business code for business class passengers.

Starting from June 10, 2021, Ukraine International Airlines will operate flights from Kyiv to Batumi twice a week. Moreover, starting from July 2021, the frequency of flights will increase to four flights per week.

Departure from Kyiv on Thursdays at 18:00 (arrival in Batumi at 21:30 local time), on Sundays departure from Batumi at 22:20 (arrival in Kyiv at 23:55 local time). Thanks to the convenient departure and arrival times, Makatsaria Tourism guests will have the best possible amount of time for the weekend tour.
