UIA received gratitude for taking care of Ukraine national football team players

16.11.20: UIA sincerely wishes new victories to the National Football Team of Ukraine and quick recovery to players who received positive PCR tests on COVID-19.

UIA is a long-time partner of the national team of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Football Association and has provided transportation for the country's main team for many years. We are proud of this status and look forward to our cooperation! In particular, UIA is pleased to provide the transportation services to the national team of Ukraine at the League of Nations match of the 2020/21 season.

The airline reacted immediately to UFA's request to organize a charter flight Leipzig-Kyiv on November, 15 for three team players and the national team administrator after they received a positive PCR test on COVID-19. UIA provided a separate medical air charter flight to transport players and a team member in compliance with all necessary sanitary requirements. It could not have been otherwise, because together with all the fans of Ukraine we sincerely believe and support the national team, we wish only good health to all players, coaches and team members and wish them new victories! Before the departure, the crew was informed that only one football player would use this flight.

We were extremely pleased to receive words of gratitude and appreciation of the organization of the flight from the Ukrainian Football Association. Transportation of the football player with a positive test on Covid was organized in strict compliance with all sanitary requirements and international protocols of epidemiological safety. Upon arrival at Boryspil Airport, the cabin of the aircraft underwent mandatory comprehensive sanitation, which is a must for UIA flights.

During eight months of the quarantine regulations, from our own experience we know that strict adherence to professional safety standards ensures 100% prevention of the spread of the virus. We hope that the players of the national team of Ukraine will recover as soon as possible and will delight their fans again with scores and new achievements!
