UIA adjusts flights to Tel Aviv and confirms Kyiv-Delhi-Kyiv
04.30.2021: Due to the expansion of quarantine restrictions for travelers from Ukraine by the Ministry of Health of the State of Israel, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) announces a reduction in frequencies between Ukraine and the State of Israel from 16 to 10 flights per week. It will be for the period from May 3 to 9, 2021.
In particular, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health of the State of Israel, all citizens returning to Israel from Ukraine, Ethiopia, Brazil, South Africa, India, Mexico and Turkey will be required to adhere to a regime of self-isolation. The term of mandatory quarantine depends on the presence of a negative coronavirus test result. Without passing the tests - 14 days, in the presence of two negative tests - 10 days. These restrictions will take effect on May 3, 2021.
Ukraine International Airlines also confirms that the next flights on the Kyiv-Delhi-Kyiv route, in particular the flights scheduled for May 2 and 3, will be operated regardless of resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers on the ban on crossing the border of Ukraine for foreign citizens arriving from India or staying on its territory for at least 7 days in the last 14 days, and which come into force on 00:00, May 2, 2021.
These conditions for crossing the state border to enter Ukraine do not apply to the following categories of citizens:
- foreigners and stateless persons who permanently or temporarily reside on the territory of Ukraine are spouses or children of citizens of Ukraine;
- employees of foreign diplomatic missions and consular posts, missions of international organizations accredited in Ukraine, and members of their families, as well as other categories of foreigners and stateless persons in agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
