UIA canceled another flight to Yerevan on October 2, 2020
October 1, 2020: Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) continues to analyze the feasibility of flights to the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict zone in accordance with aviation security requirements. Following the morning risk assessment, UIA decided to cancel the third regular flight Kyiv-Yerevan PS611, scheduled for Friday, October 2 at 17:10 UTC.
The airline made the appropriate decision based on the exceptionally high priority of flight safety and the need to comply with international aviation safety standards. In addition, UIA's independent actions to restrict flights to the conflict zone are synchronized with the position of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine.
Representatives of the airline will provide the necessary communication with the passengers of the specified flight and will provide them with all the necessary support provided by this situation.
