UIA to provide connections on the Lithuanian direction despite flying around Belarus
28.05.2021: Ukraine International Airlines additionally informs about the current air traffic with the capital of Lithuania – Vilnius.
UIA reiterates on the continuation of the Kyiv-Vilnius-Kyiv flights with a slight increase in the flight duration (up to 40 minutes) due to fly-around of the territory of Belarus.
Currently flights to Vilnius are operated on Mondays and Fridays according to the following schedule:
Kyiv (KBP) – Vilnius (VNO): departure at 9:55 (local time) – arrival at 11:55 (local time)
Vilnius (VNO) – Kyiv (KBP): departure at 14:15 (local time) – arrival at 16:15 (local time)
The current schedule allows passengers traveling from Vilnius to make convenient connections in Kyiv and continue their travel in the Eastern and Southern directions. The following destinations can be reached via Kyiv: Tbilisi, Yerevan, Chisinau Istanbul, Dubai, Cairo, Baku, Tel Aviv, Nursultan, Odesa, Kherson as well as other cities of Ukraine. Conversely, travellers from these regions can fly to Europe with a connection at UIA's base airport, Boryspil.
