UIA informed about the emergency landing of PS 712 Istanbul-Kyiv

20.05.2021: Ukraine International Airlines informed about the emergency landing of PS712 flight on May 20, 2021, which operated flight from Istanbul to Kyiv. For technical reasons, the plane with the tail number UR-PSM made an emergency landing at the nearest airfield of the international airport "Odesa".

Experienced UIA crews have practiced this situation many times on simulators. The crew acted strictly in compliance with the instructions, as well as in accordance with the requirements of aviation security and flight safety. All actions of the crew and the landing were carried out quickly and professionally with the assistance of the emergency services of the Odesa International Airport.

Passengers of PS712 flight will be delivered to Kyiv at 21:10 local time by an additional Embraer 190 aircraft. In the meantime, passengers will be provided with food and drinks.

According to preliminary information, most of the passengers on the flight went to Ukraine. For transit passengers, the transfer of the connection will be ensured in compliance with all international aviation rules and regulations.
