At Kyiv Boryspil International Airport, all flights to/from Copenhagen are scheduled to provide optimal connections with other UIA flights to the cities of Ukraine, Europe, Indian Subcontinent and Asia. Therefore, passengers are welcome to take advantage of vast travel opportunities.
“We are delighted to be back in Copenhagen. In late 1990s, we had to cease flying to the capital of Denmark since our point-to-point operations did not generate sufficient passenger traffic, – noted Yuri Miroshnikov, UIA President. – Today, we expect to boost traffic volumes through our business model of a network carrier. Being Ukraine’s legacy carrier, UIA will not only offer point-to-point operations between Ukraine and Denmark but also guarantee convenient connections with long-haul flights to Beijing, Bangkok, Colombo, and Delhi via Kyiv”.
For the first time ever, UIA launches a new route with as many as nine weekly flights. The operation of Kyiv – Copenhagen scheduled flights will enable to create up to 50 jobs in the airline and 6 – 8 jobs in related businesses.
The transit passenger traffic between Denmark and the third countries via Kyiv is expected to exceed 70,000 passengers per year.
