UIA reports the amount of refunds to passengers in February 2021

March 10, 2021: Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) continues to report on the quantity of processed passenger applications and the amount of refunds for canceled flights due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Work in this direction is carried out systematically, despite the shortage of human resources due to falling levels of traffic due to the coronary crisis.

In February 2021, the company processed about 15,000 requests and made a refund of $ 2.5 million. In total, during the 11 months of its activity during the pandemic from April 2020 to February 2021 inclusive, UIA returned more than 29 million dollars to passengers.

In addition, the airline reminds that passengers of canceled flights have several options to choose from:

• Free ticket change;
• Promo code for the unused ticket. The promo code is valid for 2 years from the date of its issuance. This option allows you to use the funds to issue a new ticket.

UIA reiterates its readiness for dialogue with its passengers and sincerely hopes for understanding. The airline does its best to process each application as soon as possible.
