Since the beginning of 2018, UIA continued with its fleet renewal and extension program taking delivery of another seven aircraft: three long haul Boeing 777-200ER and four modern Boeing 737-800 planes, three of which arrived directly from the manufacturer’s facilities in Seattle.
“UIA as Ukraine flag carrier airline, continues to develop and expand its route network. Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, and its main airport Boryspil have geopolitical advantage for the transit network provided by Ukraine International, - Evgeniya Satska, UIA Communications Director said. - The point-to-point traffic is being supported by transit passengers. This allows us to not only increase the volume of UIA’s operations; but also to create revenue streams and high quality employment for the airline, airport and other airline related enterprises in Ukraine”.
