Ukraine International Airlines has become an associated member of the Ukrainian Peace Council

November 16, 2010 Ukraine International Airlines has been certified as an associated member of the Ukrainian Peace Council – an organization uniting the efforts of the community to establish peace and conciliation in Ukraine and beyond its borders. Yuri Miroshnikov, UIA President, has become a member of the Presidium of the Ukrainian Peace Council.

November 16, 2010 Ukraine International Airlines has been certified as an associated member of the Ukrainian Peace Council – an organization uniting the efforts of the community to establish peace and conciliation in Ukraine and beyond its borders. Yuri Miroshnikov, UIA President, has become a member of the Praesidium of the Ukrainian Peace Council.

Currently more than 15 organizations are associated members of the Ukrainian Peace Council. Ukraine International Airlines together with the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv are the new members of the Ukrainian Peace Council which have joined the organisation in 2010.

"Membership in the Ukrainian Peace Council is a great honor for Ukraine International Airlines", – said UIA President Yuri Miroshnikov. – Since its foundation in 1992, our company has been constantly working to enhance the positive international image of Ukraine, proudly representing the country on the world aviation market. Moreover, being a socially responsible company, we cannot but pay attention to the global processes of the national and international environment. Nowadays the issue of peace concerns everybody, and we are confident that by uniting our efforts with the Ukrainian Peace Council we will be able to do more in gaining understanding among peoples and nations".
