UIA plans to operate four evacuation flights to / from Israel
25.02.21: In view of the approval of the Israeli government and the inclusion the city of Kyiv in the list of cities from which it is allowed to operate evacuation flights, Ukraine International Airlines plans to operate special flights to return Israeli citizens home and take Ukrainian citizens back to Ukraine.
The airline has already made a request to the Israeli government for the necessary permits and expects a positive decision in the near future. UIA plans to operate 4 flights on the Kyiv-Tel Aviv-Kyiv route: March 1, March 3, March 8 and March 10. Tickets for the Kiev - Tel Aviv – Kiev flights will be available for sale immediately after obtaining permits from Israel, and can be booked on the official website of the airline.
At the base Boryspil International Airport, UIA provides convenient flight connections from Istanbul, Dubai, Geneva, London (LGW), Milan, Amsterdam, Munich, Paris and the cities of Ukraine to Tel Aviv, as well as from Tel Aviv to Tbilisi, Vilnius, Amsterdam, Istanbul, London (LHR), as well as regions of Ukraine.
Passengers leaving Israel need to:
- Get the approval of an Exceptions Committee (only for Israeli citizens)
- Provide a negative result of a PCR test, which was taken no more than 48 hours before departure
- Fill in a Health declaration which is filled in on the website of the Ministry of Health click here
- Provide an insurance policy covering the cost of treatment for COVID-19
Passengers traveling to Israel need to:
- Сomply with the policy of entry into the State of Israel during the COVID-19 period. For policy details click here
- Get the approval of an Exceptions Committee
- Provide a negative result of a PCR test, which was taken no more than 72 hours before departure
- Fill in a Health declaration which is filled in on the website of the Ministry of Health click here
- Before boarding the flight, passengers must make an early registration to perform a COVID-19 test once arriving at Ben Gurion Airport. For details, click here
- Passengers arriving in Israel are subject to mandatory self-isolation at home or in a hotel
