Commencing 8 September 2011, Ukraine International Airlines will operate all its domestic flights from Terminal B Kyiv Boryspil International Airport. The UIA sales office will also be transferred from Terminal A to Terminal B.
On the night of September 7/8, UIA transferred all its domestic flights to Terminal B Kyiv Boryspil International Airport. At the same time, all UIA international flights will continue operating from Terminal F; therefore transit passengers whose route consists of both international and domestic flights will still be offered our shuttle bus service. For passengers’ convenience the UIA branded shuttle buses run between Terminal F and Terminal B every 15 minutes.
Transfer of all domestic flights from Terminal A to Terminal B is a part of the reconstruction and expansion of the existing facilities of Kyiv Boryspil International Airport. The reconstruction of Terminal B has allowed an increase in the number of check-in counters, security control desks and gates thereby significantly increasing the Terminal’s overall capacity. Terminal B has also been equipped with a domestic passenger arrivals area including an automatic sorting and baggage claim area for domestic flights, waiting areas have also been expanded and the number of seats has been increased.
The operation of UIA domestic flights from Terminal B will allow passengers travelling throughout Ukraine to receive a higher level of comfort and service, making airport formalities quick and easy.
