“ Establishing direct air connection between Kharkiv and Tel Aviv, we continue to develop our route network providing our passengers with more opportunities to travel not only from Kyiv, but also from the regional centers of Ukraine, – noted Evgeniya Satska, UIA Corporate Press Secretary. – The launch of a new direct flight to now visa-free Israel will allow Kharkiv residents to conveniently and quickly reach the Holy Land. Due to UIA`s non-stop flights, residents of Kharkiv region can enjoy visits to family and friends, pilgrimage tours to the holy places, vacation on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea, and Dead Sea, or professional treatment in world famous Israeli hospitals”.

“ Israel is one of our core and strategic destinations, especially since the visa regime for Ukrainian citizens has been abolished, – noted Rodion Bronnikov, Alevtina Bronnikova’s Travel Agency Co-owner and Tourism Director. – Moreover, historically Israel has been a country of “special demand” for Kharkiv residents. That is why we have commenced our flight program with Tel Aviv. Ukraine International Airlines and Kharkiv International airport were very helpful. In due course we plan to continue with this initiative by launching flights from Kharkiv to Prague (Czech Republic), Rome (Italy), and Split (Croatia). The Kharkiv – Simferopol flight is also planned to be operated in summer 2012. I hope our partners – both UIA and Kharkiv International airport – will support this initiative”.
