In January-August 2008 Ukraine International Airlines carried 21% more passengers than in the same period of 2007

In the period January to August 2008 Ukraine International Airlines carried 1.14 million passengers; 21% more than in the first 8 months of 2007. 

200,000 passengers were carried in August 2008; 14% more than in August 2007.

The passenger load factor in August 2008 was 78.5 %, on average up 9.7 points, in August 2007 – 68.8 %. 

In August 2008 UIA operated 1900 flights.

In August 2008, 430 tons of cargo and mail were carried.
