UIA widens web check-in choices

Ukraine International Airlines continue to develop the web check-in service: lately, three new destinations – Vienna*, Moscow, and Samara – were added to the list of departure airports where the web check-in service for UIA flights is available. Thus, the total number of UIA departure airports offering web check-in service currently amounts to twenty two.  

The Geography of Web check-in is Expanding

Vienna and Rome are now on the list of UIA destinations where web check-in is available. All you have to do to check in for your flight online go to the Web Check-in page on our website and enter your e-ticket number or booking code and your family name.  

UIA extends partnership with Russian carrier S7 Airlines

Ukraine International Airlines and S7 Airlines announce expansion of the agreement on joint route operations (code-sharing agreement) concluded by the carriers in July 2011.  

UIA is forced to temporarily suspend operations from/to Kharkov

Ukraine International Airlines is forced to suspend operations from/to Kharkov subsequent to the introduction of temporary restrictions on the length of Kharkov International airport runaway.

UIA transfers all its domestic flights to Terminal B

Commencing 8 September 2011, Ukraine International Airlines will operate all its domestic flights from Terminal B Kyiv Boryspil International Airport. The UIA sales office will also be transferred from Terminal A to Terminal B.

UIA will connect Ukraine to Russian cities through partnership with S7 Airlines

Ukraine International Airlines andS7 Airlines (the brand of Sibir Airlines) have signed a partnership agreement, as a result of which the number of daily services between Kiev and Moscow will be increased to three flights a day, providing comfortable, fast and beneficial air connections with the Russian regions.

As a result of the launch of the new Kiev – Moscow flight by Ukraine International Airlines, members of Panorama Club, the UIA frequent flyer program, have an opportunity to earn double miles on the route within the period July 20 to October 31, 2011.  

UIA proves compliancewith international standardsof operational safety for the fourth time

June 2011, following a scheduled IATA Operational Safety Audit, the new IOSA registration issued for Ukraine International Airlines has become operational.  

UIA re-launches flights to Lvov

After a six-month absence, Ukraine International Airlines operated the first Lvov – Kiev – Lvov flight on June 10, 2011, thus resuming regular service to the western capital of Ukraine.

White tigers traveled to Tbilisi with UIA

In the evening of May 26, some exotic passengers arrived in the Georgian capital on the UIA flight from Kiev. Two rare white tigers made a long journey en route from Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) – Zurich – Kiev – Tbilisi.
