UIA offers new opportunities for travel during Summer 2010
March 28, 2010 the summer flight schedule comes into operation; it will run through October 30, 2010. During the summer season Ukraine International Airlines will offer its passengers new opportunities for air travel to Europe, the Gulf States, and the Middle East and to the cities of Ukraine.
In April UIA introduces a new direct flight from Kiev to Almaty – it will be operated 3 times per week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
In April the airline also launches a new direct flight Kiev - Tel-Aviv, operated daily except Saturdays.
A new UIA direct flight Kiev - Geneva will be operated three times per week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
During the 2010 summer season UIA will also offer its passengers the opportunity to use new regular flights to Croatia, where a visa-free regime will be introduced for Ukrainian citizens for the summer period. One can now fly with UIA from Kiev to Dubrovnik weekly on Thursdays, the Kiev - Split flight is operated weekly on Tuesdays, and the Kiev - Pula flight is operated weekly on Thursdays.
Furthermore, it is now possible to travel to Croatia from Donetsk: UIA is introducing a weekly flight Donetsk - Dubrovnik on Saturdays. It is also possible to make an air trip to "The Eternal City" – Rome – direct from Donetsk: the Donetsk - Rome flight will be operated twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. A new flight from Donetsk to Lvov will be operated twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Frequency of UIA existing domestic flights will also be increased. One can now fly with UIA from Kiev to Odessa daily except Saturdays, from Kiev to Donetsk – daily except Sundays. The Kiev-Lvov flight will be operated daily except Sundays and the Kiev - Simferopol flight – daily.
Improved timings have also been introduced into the schedule of UIA international flights from Odessa; now the Odessa - Vienna flight provides more convenient connections with the flights of partner airlines to many European, North American and Asian cities. The Odessa - Vienna flight is now operated from Monday to Friday at 05:15, and on Saturday and Sunday at 15:00.
UIA will also increase the frequency of its scheduled flights to some destinations.
The direct UIA flight from Kiev to Tbilisi will be operated daily.
One can now travel to Nice from Kiev 3 times per week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
The Kiev - Milan flight will be operated daily except Thursday and Saturday, and the Kiev - Brussels flight – daily except Saturday and Sunday.
During the summer period the Kiev - Abu Dhabi flight will be operated 4 times a week: on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. As result of the partnership between UIA and Etihad Airways, passengers are offered a unique opportunity to travel to Asia, Africa, Australia and the Persian Gulf via the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
