UIA carried to Kiev the legendary Pilobolus Shadow Dance Theater

UIA flight PS 622 with the theatrical troupe and decorations (46 packages of 1200 kg total weight) on board arrived at the international "Borispol" airport on February 19th.

It is the first time that the American Pilobus shadow theatre will perform in Ukraine - 5 performances over 23-26 February in Kyiv’s October Palace.

The Pilobolus dancing fantasies have become the classics of the American ballet. The Shadowland, which will be presented to the Ukrainian public, is one of the best shows of the group. It is a mix of shadow play, dance, circus, gymnastics, mime, and the Japanese art of zentai suits. The magnificent shows of Pilobolus take viewers away into the world of illusions, combining the traditional techniques of classical dance in completely new variants, and adding humor and irony to the mood of all performances.
