The programme will include champagne reception and canapés, Ukrainian cuisine from professional chef Igor Stassiouk followed by traditional Ukrainian spirits, charity auction and a themed party.
The proceeds will be used to support several specific projects in Ukraine including a purchase of medical equipment for cancer patients at a children’s hospital in Zhytomyr, and supporting a family-type orphanage of 12 children in Kherson.

Chernobyl Children’s Life Line
Chernobyl Children’s Life Line http://www.ccll.org.uk
is a charity which provides respite care for many thousands of children still living with the aftermath of the Chernobyl nuclear accident of April 1986. Ukraine International Airlines is involved in bringing several hundred child victims of the Chernobyl disaster from Ukraine to the UK for recuperative breaks of four weeks. Many thousands of children from Ukraine and Belarus have been helped in this way since CCLL started operations in 1992.

Children’s Charity Groups
UIA provides help for charity groups from UK travelling to perform voluntary work in schools and orphanages in Ukraine, often such groups are taking out supplies including clothing and gifts for the children they are travelling to care for. A good example is the trip being organised by the Anerley Team Ministry of South London, who will be providing, among much else, a holiday camp, including the building of play facilities, for children of the Vinnitsa region, including donations of sporting equipment for the local school.
