According to the annual journalistic poll „Ukrainian Tourism as viewed by the Ukrainian Press” Ukraine International Airlines was recognized the best national airline of 2010.
November 16, 2010 Ukraine International Airlines has been certified as an associated member of the Ukrainian Peace Council – an organization uniting the efforts of the community to establish peace and conciliation in Ukraine and beyond its borders. Yuri Miroshnikov, UIA President, has become a member of the Presidium of the Ukrainian Peace Council.

May 13, two lions and a cheetah from South Africa were transported on UIA flight PS 470 from Zurich to Kiev, followed by another UIA flight PS 727 from Kiev to Tbilisi. Wednesday, April 28, Ukraine International Airlines operated its first non-stop scheduled flight Kiev - Donetsk - Kiev. Flights are operated by UIA`s modern Boeing 737 aircraft in two class cabin configuration – Business class and Economy class.
